Religion and Belief

1 hour - valid for 6 months

Course Cost (excl. VAT):   £29.99

Introduction

The UK has a greater religious diversity than any other country in the European Union and since December 2003, all employers have been governed by regulations that outlaw discrimination on the grounds of religious belief. But research suggests that many businesses remain complacent about their responsibilities. In 2007, tribunals heard more than 600 complaints of religious belief discrimination [1], with compensation awards in successful cases as high as £125,000 [2].

This course will help to ensure businesses understand and comply with religious belief legislation and gives practical advice on how religious beliefs can be successfully accommodated in the workplace.
